Sacred Spaces 461– Oh for a thousand tongues…
11 May 2015
“…O for a thousand tongues to sing… SPEAK
My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of His grace!”
You may be familiar with this old hymn. Yesterday, as I was preparing for our evening service, I began thinking of how many sermons I have preached over the last 14 years.
A heck of a lot! And every time, I’ve been so honoured. So humbled that God would use a whacky guy like me to bring some sort of lesson and hopefully inspiration to others.
I’ve preached in various churches, various countries and various contexts.
Then I thought, all of you who read this, in a sense… are also preachers!
“You’re the preachers of everyday”
“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” Colossians 4: 6

Try and listen to your heart
Be kind always, no matter
We all grow up
And someday well say goodbye
So shine your light while you got one ” Dave Matthews
